Des Moines Heritage Center
Located in the heart of the Historic East District, the Des Moines Heritage Center celebrates the city’s history while hosting weddings, community gatherings, and cultural programs. The thoughtfully renovated Union Depot sits across the plaza from the main event space and offers a unique setting where Des Moines’ past and present come together.
The Monroe
Sitting in West Des Moines, The Monroe combines a modern, traditional aesthetic with functionality and charm. The towering windows, and elegant chandeliers provide a moody, timeless backdrop to your event. With indoor and outdoor event options and space for up to 250 guests, the Monroe offers an elegant backdrop for memorable events.
The Tea Room
The Team Room is one of downtown Des Moines’ most iconic historic venues. Originally opened in 1913, the Tea Room was known for its grand decor, fashion shows. After a damaging fire in 2014, the venue was carefully restored and reopened inside the Wilkins Building. Today, the Tea Room combines the historic charm with modern amenities. The 16 ft. ceilings, large windows, and skyline views offer a beautiful space for weddings, corporate events and celebrations.

The Des Moines Art Center is a unique, artful setting for events in Des Moines. The venue features elegant options, like the scenic courtyard with reflecting pool.
